Piper Mountain Cur Adult Female for sale in Asheville, North Carolina

Piper's story
If you are looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you endlessly amused with her antics, look no further - Piper is the dog for you! She is a perfect medium size, active, playful, and curious. She is an independent spirit, and she can be loving and affectionate as long as she has enough playtime to get her energy out. Piper loves playing with other dogs, so a similar-sized doggy companion would be great for her. She would also love to live with an active person who will take her for walks, hikes, car rides, any kind of adventure. Even though Piper wants to be involved in whatever you're doing, she is perfectly crate trained, so she can chill in her crate for quiet time if needed. She was around cats in her former foster home and ignored them as long as they didn't tease her to chase them. Piper does enjoy gentle and predictable touch, so she would prefer a home with adults or children older than 12 who can be respectful of her space when she needs it. She is also a loyal home protector.  Please email pethelp@bwar.org for more information about this sweet and funny canine character, or feel free to stop by the shelter and meet her!
P.S. - A message from Piper: Brother Wolf is so committed to finding me a home that they've made me a Life-Long Friend! This means that my adoption fee is waived and  BWAR will provide vet care through one of their partner vets, as well as food, boarding and behavior support. For life!

Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
